Garrus Pony

Those of you who don't know me won't ever fully understand what I mean when I say "I LOVE GARRUS VAKARIAN." But take my word for it. I do.

Garrus began as a G4 Pinkie Pie - 3 whole times before I got him "right". He received a fully body resculpt and was painted with acrylics. His mane is a combination of Dolly Hair's MLP Rain Cloud, Pacific Ocean, Nickel and After Midnight. His tail is Nickel, Black Magick and After Midnight. Did I mention that I love Garrus?

I've been asked two main questions about Garrus pony by people who knew what I've been up to. First is "Do you plan on making his visor?" My initial response is "No." While I do think it would be pretty neat, I don't have any idea how I would make it attach without needing it to permanently affix to his face. I consider Joker's hat as part of Joker, but I don't consider Garrus's visor as part of Garrus. Why? Because I love Garrus, and know he is more than just his visor.

The second question I've been asked is "Do you plan to make another Garrus with his face blown off?" This one is a resounding "More than likely not." First of all, *this* Garrus - all three of him, in fact - was supposed to be wounded, as that is how he spent most of his time after we got to know him. However, I kept making him without his injury, baked him and got halfway through painting before my husband would say "When is he getting his scars?" It occurred to me that even though I *know* he caught a missle in his teeth, I still don't see the horrendous injury that takes up a quarter of his face and almost obliterated the entire right side of his jaw. That, my friends, is love. I still see him as the complete, handsome Turian that I first met on the Citadel. (Don't say I didn't warn you about my obsession with him!)

Besides that, he was a bitch to sculpt. I'm still debating whether or not making Saren is worth the headache.
